Vaughan Wiles
Vaughan founded Mango, and has specialized in US market
entry since 1984, having provided interim management
for several companies during their start-up phases.
Major affiliations include Freeplay Energy Group (helped
secure major funding from General Electric and grew
USA sales to $25 million from start-up in 3 years);
Electromatic access control devices; Royal Doulton water
filtration; Johnson Harvey management consulting group
(secured sales throughout North and South America);
Vivian Regina (high technology fiberglass systems);
Cofrusa, Spain’s largest canned fruit exporter
(developed USA market to full plant capacity after three
years); Genesis Packaging Systems (a partnership with
Alcoa to commercialize new plastic packaging technologies).
James Buckley
James has led the establishment of several new businesses,
both investor and privately owned, in Europe, the UK,
South Africa and the USA. Recent clients include Global-Nomi
Lda., a pre-paid telephony company marketing international
and local telecommunication services in Europe and the
US. James’ strengths include operations, IT systems,
international telephony, computer networking, and electronic
security. Other clients and partner companies include
Popcorn Communications, Switched Telephony Networks,
Cable Applications, Allemann Cables and Siemens SA.
St. John Wiles
St. John founded Hotel Express International UK, which
has the exclusive UK trading rights for Hotel Express,
the world’s first and leading travel club operating
worldwide. Other clients and affiliations include Hitura,
a London-based web-development agency supporting clients
such as Nike, Ben Sherman, Guinness; Contact Telecom
Ltd. (low-cost pre-paid telecom services); Freeplay
Energy Group; and Bankers Trust (acquired by Deutsche
Bank).
Roberta McBride
Roberta brings senior administrative support to the Mango team, having managed Global Logistics, Finance, Information Technology and Customer Service for several major international trading groups. Industry experience includes oil and gas, consumer electronics, sustainable energy and retail.
Brenna Haysom
Brenna is a principal at a large cap private equity fund based in New York, and is a strategic adviser to Mango. She has been an active investor and financial adviser across a number of industries in North American and Europe, including consumer goods, natural resources, power, transportation, leisure, and financial services. Brenna serves on the board of Skylink Aviation, a Canadian air transportation provider specializing in conflict areas and humanitarian aid, and on the board of Athene Re, a Bermudan life reinsurer. Brenna held an operational position in Dell Inc. and was a member of the mergers & acquisitions group at Lazard Frères & Co. She graduated cum laude from Harvard University with an AB in Social Studies, and received her MBA from the Harvard Business School.
